To used it properly you always need to check the pointer if it is located exactly 0 if it is not then you need to adjust it by zero ohm adjustment knob if it we only tend to measure the resistance.

Parallax is an apparent change in the position of an object when the person looking at the object changes position or line of sight. In meter reading, this error occurs when your line of sight is not perpendicular to the plane of the meter dial.

Me too! I'm in favor of using digital tester (even though im using analog). It offers you more accurate readings.

If I'm using a voltmeter, and I want to measure the voltage output of the outlet. Is it advisable for me to directly connect the probes to the outlet?

Why there is no ammeter here? It is also a measuring device

What are the maintenance for the measuring devices?

Any brand suggestion for these tester?

What is the most expensive tester?
